March Challenge Minis

If you’re new to the #artoffchallenge, here’s the deal:
1. Create a project incorporating the theme. You can share sneak peeks, but save the final reveal until the end of the month.

So this months Art Challenge was minis, those who have followed me for a long time will know I love my minis but do you know how the minis got started?

Honestly I started making minis because I ordered the wrong size square from the wood company that I get my plain blocks from. I soon was off and running trying to make use of a thousand little squares! These guys are all uniquely made. Some have recycled paper on them from the inside of envelopes, you know JUNK MAIL! Some are painted with left over paint that gets stuck in your brush after larger projects, don’t just throw away that paint it’s good stuff! Some have eyelet mohawks and some stand all by themselves on a magnet base. Some have electrical wires for their arms some are fancy and have copper arms. Some have one eyeball, others have two! Just like you and me we are all different, so are they, but in the end they are all MINI-BOTS!

I have hid Free Art MINI-BOTS around Montague, MA, Keene, NH, Peterborough, NH and even on Folly Beach in SC.

I’m happy to say that my minis have become pretty well know, loved and shared!
