Sugar Highway

I have had hummingbirds visiting the corral bells that I planted two years ago in my window boxes. The strange weather this year has made them produce less flowers and I see the hummingbirds fly up looking for them and then scoot off. I’ve been left as disappointed as they have.

I started looking for hummingbird feeders specifically for my window boxes. With no such luck, I finally made one myself and I have been thrilled being able to sit on the couch and watch the hummingbirds zoom back and forth in the morning. I will say there has been some serious fights over sugar water, it’s a serious addiction! Do you have a sweet tooth?

Coming Up

This week has brought me a few projects to tidy up. I started a new duck last week and I just need to get his legs installed. He is a really cute one, kind of short and chubby. Stay tuned for the reveal on Instagram! I have two builds to get finished. Two different wall hanging pieces to go into the front room at the gallery. I haven’t made hanging pieces in quite some time and I’m hoping that people enjoy the new sculptures and think of my work as something that they can hang on the wall and not just a free standing piece. It’s a new way to express myself and I’m feeling grateful to be able to do it!

That’s all for this Sunday, I’ll catch ya on the flip side!

As always stay creative!
