The first few months of the new year are always hard if you are a small business artist. Life slows down, people are out of money from the holidays and we are all looking forward to spring. I as well have slowed down some, when people aren’t buying it makes no sense for me to be building so fast.
This time of year gives me a little break to hang out with my dog and boy, he’s kept me busy!

Two new pieces of mine are hanging in the front entry room at Sawmill River Arts. I’m so thankful to the members who let me express myself in this medium as I am a shelf artist by definition. It’s always nice to move off my shelf and onto walls. As an artist who is always thinking outside the box it’s really hard to be contained to one medium. I know you might say well it’s still sculpture.

Asha the Asian Lady Beetle is my first reintroduction to Etsy. Yes that’s right I have fought it and fought it but I have decided to reopen with a few pieces so follow the shop for new pieces going in.

I’ve started to make some wearable robots. Stay tuned to that Etsy as some will drop in there.

Well that’s all for now.
I hope to see you kids soon!
As always stay Crafty my friends!
Nikki’s Rabbit Hole is ART that makes you SMILE!
